KESC is involved in various drives pertaining to awareness creation about Energy Conservation, removal of clandestine connections and public safety. We aim to develop strategic partnerships whereby we are aiming to engage various stakeholders be it opinion makers, the youth involving our leadership to address the students in different Seminars/Conferences. Top notch business and engineering universities of Karachi will be targeted for creating awareness on a massive scale.
Business and Engineering are the academic fields through which we can highlight and discuss various issues related to Energy Crisis, Conservation, informal network of connections popularly known as Kunda and shift to renewable energy sources. Youth Platform will provide us with an opportunity to bridge the gap between KESC and its consumers, specifically young minds. We intend to engage the youth by organizing interactive sessions on KESC’s role in the betterment of overall economy, Energy Conservation and ways to curtail, as well as eradicate theft.
Building strategic alliances with various institutions will help us generally eradicate the negative perception of KESC in the minds of its consumers and help bridge the gap that exists between the two. This will also give us an opportunity to address students’ concerns and queries regarding KESC and the negative propaganda surrounding it.
In an effort to strengthen our relationship with academic institutes and the youth of Pakistan, KESC sponsored various conferences in Institute of Business Administration, Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, NED University of Engineering and Technology, SZABIST, Institute of Business Management, Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture and Karachi University. We aim to endorse other related conferences and seminars to abridge the gap between KESC and its consumers, focusing on the youth of Karachi.
