Composition
The Council will have 40 inaugural members from various cross-sections of the city of Karachi, primarily a senior group of entirely independent and concerned citizens.
Core Objectives
The members are carefully selected based on their repute, caliber and professionalism, who can:
• Act as an official sounding board for the company's goals and deliverables
• Flag issues of public concern and who can act as representatives of stakeholder opinion, within our business, from all walks of life in Karachi
• Provide regular external guidance to serve our customers and meet their expectations with highest level of customer service.
Key Areas of Focus
The Council members will be sub-divided into think-tanks around generation, transmission, distribution as well as on Industrial Relations, CSR and Government Relations. These smaller forums will ensure interactive debate in each meeting, followed by a combined meeting to agree progress, solutions and implementation.
