HSEQ POLICY

The reputation of KESC for conducting business with integrity and respect for those who are impacted by our activities is critical to our success as we build a company to be proud of. To this end, we, at KESC, will ensure that all our processes incorporate appropriate measures to prevent any harm to public and employees, as well as safeguarding our assets from loss, damage and business disruptions. The management at all levels shall demonstrate, through its decisions and actions, its commitment to:

• Ensure adequate management of safety of our
employees and others involved in our areas of activity.

• Shape processes and operations to achieve safety objectives without
compromising legal requirements.

• Continually improve the effectiveness of Safety Management System and to regularly review its components.

• Provide all necessary resources to achieve the defined safety objectives, to bring all risks to an acceptable level or as low as reasonably practicable.

• Abide by all applicable legislations, adopt best industry practices and conform to the requirement of the subscribed standards.

• Ensure that all required audits are conducted and reviewed regularly. All
employees shall cooperate fully with internal and external auditors to achieve our goal of continuous improvement keeping in view the challenges of changing environment.

• Ensure active participation of representatives from relevant areas in all safety related decision making and ensure that good performance is recognized and rewarded.

All KESC employees are responsible and accountable for their safety performance. They shall explicitly demonstrate their safety consciousness by being aware of their roles and responsibilities. On my part, I will ensure that timely decisions are taken to demonstrate our commitment for implementing safety strategy and policy.
